UPDATE 11/29/11
Went out to Shanty last sunday for some more new route scouting, a beautifully rainy cool day out with the dog bushwhacking and exploring. Found three or four new bolt-able routes in the Amphitheater that will definitely go, and one 45-60 degree overhung finger crack that will go on trad. Went out tonight with a buddy of mine and put the first bolt in one of the bolt-able lines, projected 11+ or 12, worked the first sequences and it looks super fun so far. The first moves go from a pair of three finger pockets that go up to a crimper rail, match or cross a bit further to the left and a long dyno to a less than positive incut. Will go out another night this week, time and weather permitting and try to finish some more of the line. Looking forward to a fun project! Will post pics and info as soon as I get some up. Climb on!
